FREE tickets to Toy Story 3 – a reminder June 20, 2010

PLEASE NOTE: I have no affiliation with Toy Story 3, Disney/Pixar, or any movie theaters, and no matter how nicely you ask me, I can’t get you any free tickets. That’s something you have to do on your own. 🙂

Happy Father’s Day to all those great dads out there! What are you doing to celebrate? We’re headed to the movies!

Do you remember that deal we shared back at the end of March where you could get FREE tickets to Toy Story 3 when you bought Toy Story 1 & 2 on DVD? Well, now is the time to redeem those certificates at DisneyMovieRewards.com!

I redeemed ours last night online and it was VERY simple. Our vouchers are printed and ready to go for our local Cinemark Theater. I made sure to put the adults’ names on the vouchers since the kids cost less anyhow! The vouchers are good for up to $8.50 per ticket and even good for the “no coupons, no passes” showing of Toy Story 3.

In memory of my daddy who is celebrating up in Heaven today, I wanted to throw in a plug about the importance of being a registered organ and/or tissue donor. For more info on how to be the ultimate in resourceful, please click here. If you’re not ready to register, please at least start the conversation with your family.

Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Birthday, Being Resourceful! April 24, 2010

Today is Being Resourceful’s first birthday! Many, many thanks to all of our readers, and especially to those who gave me the swift kick in the pants it took for me to get this started. I am so happy and thankful to be able to share with you the great deals I find, and, more importantly, to honor the memory of my dad by spreading the word about organ and tissue donation. I miss you, Daddy.
