25% OFF & FREE SHIPPING on the best calendar ever — MyAgenda for $30.75 November 5, 2010

UPDATE: Enter code mom20899 during the checkout process on the screen where you enter your credit card info to SAVE AN ADDITIONAL 10%, bringing the total down to just $27.68!

Ok, I’ll spill the beans… Here’s my secret to keeping organized. I “found” the momAgenda company’s calendars 4.5 years ago and since then I’ve been hooked! I’m about to place my order for my 4th calendar. These things are simply fabulous — and you don’t need to be a mom to appreciate them!

I love that you can see a week at a time AND a month at a time. On the week pages, there’s enough space below each day (ie. half a page) for keeping track of your workout schedule, planning meals, making your to-do lists, etc. The back of the calendar has a removable soft-covered book that you can simply move from year to year, allowing you to keep essential info at your fingertips. The cover of the calendar┬áis soft to the touch, yet you can wipe it clean with a sponge.┬áIt is bound like a book, so your pages don’t pop out. And they even have the old-fashioned ribbon bookmarks in them that help you to open quickly to the right date.

So, how do you get one of these dandy calendars? You could pay full price at a boutique store downtown, or you could simply click here to head over to their site to save up to 30% OFF the myAgenda and momAgenda calendars! Once there, I recommend┬áclicking the “myAgenda Day Planners” link in the left-hand navigation bar, then selecting the “myAgenda Desktop” calendar. This is the beauty I’m buying for this next year (Aug 2010 – Dec 2011) for just $30.75 (reg. $41) and FREE SHIPPING. In previous years I’ve purchased the momAgenda Desktop calendar and loved it too.

$8.99 Magic Photo Cube (w/ FREE shipping!) August 9, 2010

magic photo cubeBack in my days of being a systems analyst, this was my FAVORITE desk-topping freebie that I received from one of our vendors… A magic cube! Seriously, this toy provided endless hours of fun when I’d need to walk someone through a long process on the phone. Of course, the magic cube that I had was plastered with the vendor’s logo, but I saw this custom magic photo cube and am jumping at the chance to order one with our family’s photos on it!

Regularly $14.99, you can design your own magic photo cube using 6 small and 3 large photos of your choosing (or pop your company’s logo on there if you so desire!) for just $8.99 and FREE shipping! Use code MAGICCUBE at checkout to snag this deal. (As a head’s up, the email I received from ArtsCow said I’d need to use Microsoft Silverlight software to design the cube, but when I log in to create my cube, it doesn’t look like any special software is needed.)

Here are some ideas for how to use this custom photo gift… Choose baby photos for that new mom or dad to take back to the office. Summer vacation photos. A recent birthday party — or one held years ago. A wedding-themed cube, perfect for a wedding gift or upcoming anniversary gift. A pet-themed cube. Really, anything!

This magic cube may be too delicate for the 5 & under crowd, but it is sure to be a big hit with the 6 & up folks!

FREE backpack at Staples (via EasyRebate) July 26, 2010

BackpacksCan you believe this is the last week of July? Back-to-school sales are starting all over the place and Christmas decorations are already up at Hobby Lobby… And it is still 100+ degrees outside! I heard this deal on the radio this weekend (can’t remember the station) and was blown away. Every kid needs school supplies, and most long for a new backpack to go with those new back-to-school shoes.

This week you can get ANY backpack for FREE at Staples! Really, it ends up being FREE when you send in their EasyRebate form (which they’ll print for you at the register along with your receipt), and you’ll get 100% of the backpack’s purchase price back as a Staples Gift Card. You know you’ll need to pick up more supplies in the future, whether it is more ink for the printer, the highly-coveted Sharpie markers, or even something as basic as posterboard. Or, perhaps YOU could use something like computer supplies, a phone case, a big ‘ol bag of coffee, etc.!

You can shop in the store, online, or by phone. This deal is limited to one per household, so be sure to use it on the most expensive backpack you purchase!

$10 OFF $25 at Office Depot this week July 12, 2010

Oh, the promise of an office supply store. You enter through their automatic doors and see the aisles and aisles of organizational opportunities! Binders! Sheet protectors! Post-its! Sharpies! Yes, I grew up with a father who instilled in me a love of office supplies. I think it started way back when he used to bring home those fabulous Marks-A-Lot permanent markers and reams of recycled printer paper (with the holes on the edges) from the office. The good old days!

Nowadays I keep my ears to the ground for great deals on office supplies. Here’s one I LOVE! Print this coupon to save $10 OFF your purchase of $25 or more at Office Depot this week! It is even good on “technology, furniture, supplies and more!”

Oh, what am I using my coupon for? Well, I’ve started my half-marathon training and have decided my poor iPhone has been tossed to the ground one too many times. I intended to use a previous coupon to buy an arm band, but missed the deadline (grr!). So, I’m off to Office Depot to try out an XtremeMac Sportwrap this week. Originally $29.99, I’ll get it for $19.99+tax with the coupon. I hope it is comfortable!
